What's New in the 2019 Subaru Outback?

Every model year, the Subaru Outback continues to evolve and advance, and every model year, the Subaru Outback continues to be one of the top choices of drivers from all over the country because of it. While the Outback is constantly being upgraded and enhanced, it also maintains the legendary performance and versatility that made it so popular in the first place. This year, the 2019 Outback offers a number of upgrades compared to the 2018 model year Outback, but the main and most important change from last year is that every model now offers a standard Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system, providing you with greater confidence and ease behind the wheel wherever your travels take you!

On last year's 2018 Outback lineup, the Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system was only available on select trim levels. This year, all 2019 Outback models come equipped with a standard Eyesight system. The system uses dual-camera technology to monitor the road in front of you, providing you with advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, which maintains a set distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you, pre-collision braking, which can apply the brakes for you if you fail to do so on time when a potential collision is determined, lane keep assist, which warns you if you begin to drift out of your lane, and more! With the standard Eyesight system, you can drive everywhere with the peace of mind that two sets of eyes awards you and enjoy every outing more than ever before!
